Cornered by British forces in the corridors that followed, Badal swallowed cyanide on the spot; Binoy and Dinesh turned their weapons on themselves rather than be captured. Binoy died of his wounds on 13th December 1930. Dinesh survived, was tried, and was hanged in 1931.
