THE DESIGN

The trishul runs the length of the kurti — from collar to hem — in deep black, its shaft anchored in a diya at the base, flame wisps rising in red. A single red sindoor bindi marks the mid-point of the shaft, the exact spot where the sacred and the mortal meet.

To the left of the trishul, the four lines of the Argala Stotram fall in bold Bengali calligraphy, rendered in deep crimson — the colour of Devi's energy, the colour of the alta that marks her feet, the colour that means she has already arrived.

The composition is vertical, asymmetric, deliberate. It reads like a prayer scroll worn on the body.

Produced through high-definition DTF (Direct to Film) printing using OEKO-TEX ECOPASSPORT certified inks — independently verified, safe against skin, free of harmful substances. The crimson of the Bengali lettering and the black of the trishul are reproduced with the precision this design demands.
