From the moment Durga descends with her ten arms raised, through the beat of the dhaak and the smoke of the dhunuchi, past the pandal lit gold at dusk, to the final boat that carries her back to the river — this panjabi tells the whole arc of Durga Puja, frame by frame, in the oldest visual language Bengal's tribal artists know.

Warli art has never needed color to move people. Ochre figures, dancing in lines, telling stories that predate the pandals themselves. Here, that restraint meets the color of the festival — reds, mustards, deep maroons — laid over it panel by panel down the chest.
