THE STORY
Every Puja season, Bengal doesn't stop at one goddess. The season carries the weight of an entire family — Shiva watching over from Kailash, Parvati as the mother of the household, and little Ganesh perched wherever the story needs warmth.
One Bengali artist believed divinity didn't need a halo to be sacred. Bold black outlines, flat fearless colour, faces reduced to their purest feeling — that was Jamini Roy's answer to realism. He painted gods the way Bengal's own folk art once did: not distant, but domestic.

THE PANJABI
Shiva, Parvati and Ganesh are printed here exactly the way Jamini Roy taught Bengal to see its own family of gods — warm, watchful, close enough to bless the house.
