Description

One Look. No Excess.

Durga doesn't need ten arms drawn in detail to feel powerful — sometimes a single steady gaze says it all. This saree carries her that way: a modern, minimalist portrait, folded hands cradling the trishul, crown catching the light in gold and red.

Drawn in a clean, contemporary illustration style — flat colour, confident linework, no unnecessary ornamentation — the Goddess sits at the centre of the pallu, framed by nothing but white space and a quiet dotted border. Along the pallu's edge, a red dot-and-lotus trail runs the length of the drape, the only decoration this saree needs.

The body of the saree stays clean white cotton, letting the portrait hold the eye exactly where it should.

This is a printed saree — high-definition digital printing on pure cotton, reproducing every clean line with precision and permanence. Available in your choice of pure Khadi Cotton or lighter, breathable Mul Cotton. The art stays sharp. The drape stays effortless.

It is a saree for the woman who wants her Puja look to feel modern, not just traditional — devotion drawn the way this generation sees it.

Style Tip

A plain maroon or red blouse and a gold choker keep the look clean and let the portrait lead — exactly how it's styled in our shoot. Pair it with a matching Durga Puja panjabi for him, and the two of you walk into the pandal as a matched frame.

They'll ask. Tell them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this saree printed or hand-painted?
It's a high-definition digital print on cotton. The artwork was hand-drawn by our team in a modern minimalist style, then printed with OEKO-TEX certified inks so the lines stay crisp wash after wash. Not hand-painted or embroidered.
Does it come with a blouse piece?
No. Styled in our photos with a plain maroon blouse, which we recommend for this look.
What's the difference between the Khadi Cotton and Mul Cotton options?
Khadi Cotton is thicker and more structured, giving the saree body and a traditional drape. Mul Cotton is lighter, softer, and slightly sheerer — a breezier choice for long Puja mornings and evenings. Both carry the same print.
What is the length of the saree?
Standard drape length of approximately 5.5 metres; free-size, suits all draping styles.
How do I wash and care for it?
Gentle hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not soak or bleach. Dry in shade, inside out. Iron on medium heat on the reverse side; avoid ironing directly over the printed areas.
Is khadi cotton comfortable for pandal-hopping in October?
Yes. Handloom khadi is breathable and lightweight, exactly why it's the traditional fabric of Bengali autumn.
Why is the design so minimal compared to other Durga sarees?
It's a deliberate modern take — clean lines and flat colour instead of dense detail, for a contemporary festive look that still centres the Goddess.
Can I return or exchange it?
Returns and exchanges are accepted strictly within 3 days of delivery, provided the saree is unworn and unwashed with tags intact.
